Quinette Gallay is proud to have been chosen by Chantiers de l’Atlantique (formerly STX Europe) to equip the theatres on board five of their “Celebrity” cruise ships.
The Celebrity series is a new range of luxurious ships featuring the latest technologies and amazing entertainment venues.
Two ships have been equipped so far: Celebrity Edge, which has been sailing since November 2018, and Celebrity Apex, which was launched in spring 2020.
Quinette Gallay has specially developed a seat model for the three curved levels in these theatres. They are particularly durable and meet standard EN 12727 level 4. They are supplied with backrests with varying heights and angles to perfectly suit each area of the theatre, ensuring comfort, visibility and safety on balconies.
The strong cup holders, located in a recess cut into the solid wood armrests, have been designed to accommodate 18 different types of glasses. At the end of each row, the chairs are trimmed in suede with a silver sheen.
The cushions are upholstered in velvet in 3 colours.
Quinette Gallay is looking forward to equipping a similar venue on the next Celebrity cruise ship in 2021.
