Quinette Gallay : 70 years of innovation and development
70 years of innovation and development makes a difference in the life of a company.
Quinette Gallay have designed and manufactured over 5 million seats in Montreuil since 1947. What a journey!
Over the decades, the Quinette Gallay launched the first cinema seats with a central base in 1953. During the sixties they gradually expanded their international market, and eventually took over the Gallay company in the late seventies.
They continued to innovate with the famous Bravo system: its simplicity is still its main asset to this day. 2007 marked a turning point for Quinette Gallay, a year that saw them win their biggest order, supplying the Qatar Foundation with 8000 top-range seats.
The arrival of a new shareholder in 2014 boosted their momentum. Quinette Gallay was commissioned to design the seats of the “Maison de la Radio”. In 2015, our team designed the seats of the Kuwait City Arts Centre: Sheikh Jaber Al Ahmad. And the adventure continues. In 2016, our team won the Harmony of Seas contract; a fantastic opportunity for our team to equip the theatre on the biggest cruise ship in the world.
This year, the Mogador theatre requested our assistance and in early 2018, the Quinette Gallay seats will fly all the way to New York to equip the conference rooms of Time Warner’s new head office.
Quinette Gallay : Seats made in France
With a view of selling seats which are immediately recognisable, the start of a partnership between Quinette Gallay and a design office was set up this year. Quinette Gallay is first and foremost seats manufactured in France with the ‘made in France’ label. It is the ‘French touch’: chic elegance, a style all of its own.
This style was highlighted by the Premium Saint Omer that was in black and white for the occasion, where our guests were delighted to discover this during the evening. In the centre of these seats: an oxygen bar diffusing essential oils. The natural benefits promoting a sense of well-being to our guests while they mingle in a gypsy jazz vibe.
This evening was aimed at thanking all our clients, partners and collaborators, for their trust and contribution in making this company a success.
